I want to suggest a few things that I think we need in the movement...I have so many ideas and not enough time or money for all my ideas...so here we go

1. I think we should take the opportunity of free livestream channels to create our own peoples tv network. We can have shows and documentaries and an "evening news show" everyday to keep us in the know and unify our movement. We just need to get organized and network together...livestream is free and we should take advantage of the awesome tool available.

2. I think we can create a 99% trade and services site or magazine that lists all our talents and abilities to help the whole and do it state by state to take care of eachother and to get off the corporate grid. If we are all supporting eachother.... than we have the possibility of boycotting the corporations for real and have an impact.

3. Another idea is to have people that will run for office and take over the government....If we tear down what exists we need to replace it with something better...we need to be organized about this. We need a candidate for the people in an election year....we can inform the public and the people through all indy media sites and tv and livestream before the vote in November. It is an election year and we should really take advantage of it....we need a candidate that the people can stand behind.

4. A true pay it forward movement...we all go and help our fellow people in as many ways as we can to change the view of our movement. If we pay it forward ...we can change the world we live in.

5. Expose and educate the people about Monsanto and Dupont on a large scale...so the people really know what is going on with our food supply and expose Agenda 21 and the plans

6. I do believe we can create an indy media center of the people by the people...we just need to be united and networked.

Hi, Safire!

Thank you for your suggestions. I'm in San Diego, not at NatGat, but last night I read on Twitter that all the livestreamers at NatGat except for one had been arrested by the police.

This is of great concern to me, because I and many others rely on livestreamer to keep up with police brutality at Occupy events.

It seems to me that the more privileged people at NatGat have a lot of technology and might be able to compensate for the loss of the less privileged livestreamers outside. But do they care?

"Happy Birthday Occupy Wall Street ... thoughts on Year One"

Fifteen years ago, I ran across a book, "100 Most Influential People in History," during one of my dalliances to my local Marin County bookstore. "Influential People" was one man's assessment on exactly that. But how he determined his rankings was the interesting part. They weren't always the reasons you would think. But after thinking about it, they made complete sense. For example:George Washington was ranked in the top 40 of all time. Understandable. But the reason why ... not so much. You…See More
