My desk is messy and I can't find where I wrote down your email address, so I'm sending it here.
I just listened to a speech that is still giving me tingles, watering my eyes and flooding me with deep gratitude and aliveness. I found it to be an  extraordinarily written and one of the finest articulated felt speeches I've ever heard in my life. It moved me and is moving me.  For me, this speech demonstrates what "one (wo)man can do" (John Denver). Or I should say: what just me could do (and you Doreen, and if anyone else is here, YOU).

I apologize for the mix-up in the approval of your most recent blog.

I want to communicate some guidelines for posting that are clarifying here in the first blush of Occupy Cafe's emergence.

We regard the Cafe as a site devoted to the direct support of the Occupy movement, connecting on-the-ground organizers with virtual supporters--or even dissenters if that should occur-and exploring issues of mutual interest.

We are also committed to expanding the conversation ignited by the Occupations, which is focused on the topics of social justice, economic inequities, political empowerment and the recommitment to democracy. In that regard, we may have to exercise some discretion in deciding what content serves that primary objective and what content may lie outside of it.

We are also clear that personal promotion is not appropriate to the site such as linking to a personal site, personal services or to any commercial site in which one has an interest.

The material you have recently posted is appropriate for inclusion in a group which you are welcome and invited to create in the cafe. We will be reserving the blogs for material that is more closely focused in our primary areas of interest.

We appreciate your enthusiasm and interest here and look forward to your continued participation. I hope you can also appreciate the nature of our task as stewards.
