Video: "From Consumers to Citizens"

One of my favorite themes. 

This video was recently shared on the Art of Hosting list-serve by Ria Baeck via Simon d’Osogna. I just watched it and it really is a lovely nice-quality video about public participation, citing practices used in one region of Austria like Appreciative Inquiry, Wisdom Council, Citizen Juries, and World Café.  I figured some people on this NCDD list might enjoy watching it as well, so am sharing the link.

Occupy Theology/Occupy Church

I just joined up this morning,  after  friend forwarded me the info on the 6/11/12 online conversation taking place here.  I wanted to introduce myself and my current mission with my blog occupytheology.org    I also have been focusing a great dealof late on some efforts by friends of mine in OccupyDC and OccupyFaith , ,  calling themselves #OccupyChurch.  Jeremy John ( @glassdimlyfaith ) of OccupyChurch is planning with me for a couple of sessions at the  upcoming Wild Goose Festival…
