Okay, I don't use Facebook that much, but this platform is similar to FB but, in my opinion, better for group discussions.
So feel free to try this out to see how it works.
Example: Did you attend the Occupy meeting in Hyannis at the Calvary Church on Oct. 21st? How do you think it went? What would you suggest to make the next meeting better?

As a fellow New Englander, I felt that I could join this even though I'm a lot closer to NYC than the Cape! And I didn't want you to be all alone here. ;-)
First I want to see how the larger community evolves. That would have to be successful, first, before I could justify (to myself) the effort to grow a smaller version of that community.
"What it's all about" needs to be made more clear, first, because many interested people see #OWC as a vehicle for their existing agenda/answer. Once that becomes more clear, then I would invite people to the conversation. Too many people too soon could easily overwhelm the platform here.
