Got interested about a year ago. But was too busy to actually camp out...wish I could have. I support the movement 100%. Also know that my favorite musician...Amanda Palmer supports and looked in to more detail after her show in San Diego last Oct. (2011)

    Welcome to Occupy Cafe, Matthew.  Hope to "see you" on our forum discussions and Cafe Calls.  Here's a question for you: "what is the crossroads where you find yourself regarding what you see as the most compelling aspects of the Occupy movement or the need for systemic transformation in general?"

    Thanks for the reply, Matthew.  There's an interesting split in the movement around whether or not to support Obama, with many people saying our electoral system is broken (no good choices) while others suggesting that the "lesser of two evils" rationale still holds.  Rebecca Solnit has a piece out that I've been quoting a lot that says we need to support him, and in general avoid insisting on "ideological purity."
