Hello All,

Occupy Baton Rouge is going to start hosting a weekly Radio Show in the coming days and we are looking for information, stories, and updates form occupations across the globe.

We know we can always go on Facebook and Twitter to get the latest from those locations (and we will) but we are also wanting something more personal.

Each radio program will devote time to update its listeners about the movement on a local, national, and international scale. Getting this information straight from occupiers and those involved in the movement will add a richness that Facebook and Twitter can't provide.

If you would like to share your experiences please email them to apersonsvoice@gmail.com. This account is devoted to the Baton Rouge Occupy Radio show (The People's Mic) and will be used to gather information about the movement with the intent to share it with its listeners.

---

If your Occupy Movement also has a radio show, or are currently in the works of starting a radio (or any media show) we would also appreciate any advice or tips you may have learned from your experiences.

Thank you

"Happy Birthday Occupy Wall Street ... thoughts on Year One"

Fifteen years ago, I ran across a book, "100 Most Influential People in History," during one of my dalliances to my local Marin County bookstore. "Influential People" was one man's assessment on exactly that. But how he determined his rankings was the interesting part. They weren't always the reasons you would think. But after thinking about it, they made complete sense. For example:George Washington was ranked in the top 40 of all time. Understandable. But the reason why ... not so much. You…See More
