It's Time for the 99% To Occupy the Occupy Movement

Many of us Northern Californians are familiar with the wise-cracking, wise-guy affectionately know as Swami Beyondananda, aka Steve Bhaerman, and his lovely consort Trudy Trueheart.  Steve's ability to lighten up weighty subjects has brought relief to many a soul.  Thanks for keeping the light lit,…

Thanks for the opportunity to share.  Here is a thought about a collaborative opportunity.  A friend of mine and I have worked in International Development for many years.  As the world is changing to leaps and bounds so too our industry needs to look into the future and imagine how we need to do things now.  After much discussion and lots of research, we have come to the conclusion is that for all nations to reach a level of development that enables their citizens to have life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, there are three key pieces that need to be integrated and in some kind of balance.  These three pieces are Human Capital, Technology, and Natural Resources.  The forces that are outside of this and difficult to control are natural disasters.   We think that  there is a backdrop of human consciousness that will result in a global mindset that is will inspire the balance that we are talking about.  I would love to have collaborators to help us further develop this and discover how and where we might use it.

I don't see the capability to upload files on the Community Weaving Group. I was able to upload documents on the Vital Conversation page for the Community Weaving conversation on 8/27/12.  Please advise how to upload files to the Community Weaving Group. Thx!

Yes, I do know Suzanne. She suggested I log in here and offer some more NVC input to the forums. Also, I will be open to staffing some calls during the upcoming activities.

Tamera for Tomorrow: A Model for the 99% and Creating Just and Environmentally Sustainable Communities

Lets speak to the deep meaning of the vampire myth in relationship to modern day.  How many people, especially many of us rationalized liberals, realize that myth speaks to reality.   Our issue in not understanding is our lack of an intelligent understanding of metaphor, which epistemologist Gregory Baetson defines as “a language…See More

"Oh, reading your earlier comment, Ben - maybe your 11:30 am is the "gift circle" whatever that is or the " additional hour prior to".  Does that mean that the call/online space opens ahead of time ? "
