I've built a platform called aGREATER.US to find the best ideas, those bills with overwhelming support, to set a GREATER platform, and from that the best three ideas become the GREATER BILL 2012. Then we will demand passage.

We are just now in beta, so please check it out. It needs ideas, op-eds, raters, polisci classes to get involved, and word of mouth.

We will probably have to go with an independent (or two bipartisan) editor(s) or scribe(s) for each topic as the data grows. Those editors will likely become an advisory board as we get closer to the Flag Day finale. (To coincide with the end of the primary season)

The 99%, based on all elections in recent memory, is about 1/3 each conservative, independent, and liberal. The GREATER BILL process gives an equal say-so to each. The GREATER BILL will be verified as having supermajority support by independent polling. We will then ask all the candidates to pledge to pass the GREATER BILL in the first fortnight of the next legislative session.

So, what say you?

Fifteen years ago, I ran across a book, "100 Most Influential People in History," during one of my dalliances to my local Marin County bookstore. "Influential People" was one man's assessment on exactly that. But how he determined his rankings was the interesting part. They weren't always the reasons you would think. But after thinking about it, they made complete sense. For example:George Washington was ranked in the top 40 of all time. Understandable. But the reason why ... not so much. You…See More
