Our call this week will bring to light what's on your heart.
Share how you feel about the changes you see, and want to see, in the world around you.   What is your personal relationship to the larger movement toward peace, justice and freedom?

What are you doing
in relationship to transforming our world that you feel particularly good about?

If you could make 2 changes within yourself, that might have the most positive impact in the world around you, what would they be?

Parting note:  As I chew my way through David Graeber's
Debt: The First 5000 Years, it is remarkable to consider the historical context of the very plight we face now.  Though the characters, settings and technology have changed, the underlying dynamic has not—that of inequity and debt bondage.

More than a change of players, structures or policy—history depicts an unending stream of such upheavals—we are transforming our world through a collective change of heart.  That's r-evolutionary!

Remember to smile, lest we take our journey too personally and lose the spirit from which lasting freedom actually emerges.  Love is power.

"Happy Birthday Occupy Wall Street ... thoughts on Year One"

Fifteen years ago, I ran across a book, "100 Most Influential People in History," during one of my dalliances to my local Marin County bookstore. "Influential People" was one man's assessment on exactly that. But how he determined his rankings was the interesting part. They weren't always the reasons you would think. But after thinking about it, they made complete sense. For example:George Washington was ranked in the top 40 of all time. Understandable. But the reason why ... not so much. You…See More
