An open space for global conversation
The Occupy Movement can transform the global marketplace, but what would that change look like, and how do we get there from here?
At "Occupy: Reconomy" we believe that business must serve local community needs and put people and planet ahead of profit, and we're making this change happen. Beginning with pilots for self-reliant marketplaces now being developed in India, the United States, and Costa Rica, we are discussing, designing, and implementing this economic renaissance.
Our core team members from four continents invite anyone interested to join us and be the change you want to see in the world.

I might come over there, but will have to decide what engagement(s) to give up in exchange. I'd like to see a different discipline in the use of the terms global and planet, especially if our emerging commitment is to local/regional.
You asked "how do we get there from here?" It's actually the other way: how does each get here from anywhere?
Thanks to all in Gary's "New Economy" thread for their consideration, questions and help.
Does anyone know of any other Occupy boards addressing economic solutions?
