Assumptions about energy availability and affordability lurk in every discussion on this site, but very few of us bring them into view for others as a practice.  My friends, begin to make it a practice!  In the determination of what is worth changing, what is worth doing, we must share beliefs that there is energy for the effort and energy to sustain the outcomes.  We can't get where we're going if the energy basis is inadequate, vanishing or missing.

Please review what you know about energy.  If you don't know much about it, make some time for learning.  Give special attention to the safety and reliability (this combines accessibility and adequacy of supply) of each form and technology.  Which are best in terms of those alone?  Which are within everyone's reach, holding greatest potential for serving the 100%?

Let's talk.
