Jerry Ashton is a forty-year veteran in credit and collections industry and an acknowledged gadfly in that industry. He has been chronicling the Occupy Wall Street movement almost since its inception and has become an “unintended activist” through that experience.

Determined to create an activist and “survivors manual” for victims of the Great Recession, he reaches out to Occupiers and their supporters by way of an Internet-based radio program called “15 Minutes of Fact” on WGRNradio.com, through his writings for the Huffington Post, and through his book-in-process “Written Off – America and Americans (www.WrittenOffAmerica.com).

Jerry also started and is moderator of LinkedIn's largest OWS site, OccupyEverywhere and Tweets regularly as @WrittenOffUSA to promote progressive causes and OWS.
