Getting money out of politics really starts at the grass roots level. We have to make our congresspeople accountable for their actions.

There is a three step process for getting money out of politics in your congressional district:

1. Watch this video that shows what to do: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_bRsXWsmRpE

2. Follow up with an email. Here is the script that I used in the above video, and the email examples I have on my desktop to follow up: Script%20-%20Sign%20the%20Pledge.doc

3. Email me judy(at)writeindependent.org which candidates signed the pledge. We will contact them to help them get our infomercial on local public access stations.

If you have any questions, contact Judy Frankel at judy@writeindependent.org.

Thanks, Judy!  The work you have done on this is indeed impressive. I'm curious what other members of the Cafe think about this approach.  the core mission is certainly something we can all align around.
