What draws you to Occupy Cafe?
I work at a cafe in the Haight/Ashbury area of San Francisco, and I have been an active organizer. I would like to organize an in-person Occupy Cafe event in the cafe here, the Red Victorian Peace Cafe, or potentially find some other way to use our space in the cafe to help. We have a pretty large area with tables and chairs in the cafe as well as a gallery with chairs and a small stage and sound/projector system. We also have a bed and breakfast upstairs. I am looking to learn more as well as find other people in San Francisco who might be interested in helping me organize the event.

"Influential People" was one man's assessment on exactly that. But how he determined his rankings was the interesting part. They weren't always the reasons you would think. But after thinking about it, they made complete sense. For example:George Washington was ranked in the top 40 of all time. Understandable. But the reason why ... not so much. You…See More
