My basic view is that Occupy can raise up to $500 million (50 million cultural creatives times $10 each) per year - perhaps more - if they cluster at IndieGoGo, get added functionality, and go for broke on the Electoral Reform Act of 2012.  We can walk, buy, and occupy Congress back into being honest.  I know we can do this!

I took some heat for addressing this to the Occupy Movement / Mob, I was thinking non-pejorative flash mobs, but changed it to Occupy/* after the  early criticism.  This is the best advice I can offer in support of both Occupy and the Republic.  I am not expecting to succeed, but hoping for a miracle -- the ONE advantage we have is the ability to do what no government or corporation can do: turn on a dime.  We can do this and we can do it in time to get the Act passed by 15 February.  Whether we do or not is not up to me now.

"Happy Birthday Occupy Wall Street ... thoughts on Year One"

Fifteen years ago, I ran across a book, "100 Most Influential People in History," during one of my dalliances to my local Marin County bookstore. "Influential People" was one man's assessment on exactly that. But how he determined his rankings was the interesting part. They weren't always the reasons you would think. But after thinking about it, they made complete sense. For example:George Washington was ranked in the top 40 of all time. Understandable. But the reason why ... not so much. You…See More
