Jon,  going to feature your web site at Phi Beta Iota.  Have not talked to GetMoneyOut.  Just talked to Reform Party leadership, they have agreed to take the lead on the Electoral Reform Summit, our objective is to get everyone other than the wing-nuts and the corrupt on the same page, and to then confront every Senator and every Representative while they are home on fund-raising holidays, with the REALITY that the 99% have focused on one singular demand they will co-sponsor the bill or be individually hounded out of office.  This has to be "all in."  We are at a unique point where all the forces favor us, we have to recognize and seize the moment, or we are looking at four more years of two party tyranny on behalf of Wall Street.  IMHO.

Www.aGREATER.US. I have some experience in CT. I was the State coordinator of the Vote Out Poverty Campaign in 2008. We had all sitting Congress Members sign the pledge.

PS:  Both the Statement of Demand and the Electoral Reform Act of 2012 have elicited huge substantive contributions, on versions 3.4 and 3.8 respectively, as soon as we iron out Approval/Range Voting with Hand-Counted Paper Ballots, and refine the Representation section that is made almost redundant by embedding proportional representation in Voting, we will be ready for the Election Reform Summit in early December.

Yesterday I connected with the leaders of all of the political parties in the USA and am talking to several right now about the Summit.  Intend is to create delegations of constituents for every Senator and every Representative that deliver the Statement and Act in draft to every Senator and Representative, inviting them to co-sponsor it immediately after the Demand is read nation-wide on 5 January 2012.  I think we can do this.

Next week I am focusing on labor unions and student associations.  The Act also includes the 18 year old provision.

John, please send me the url.  I just posted a couple of items at Phi Beta Iota you might want to look at.  Before I lost my business and townhouse to this economic disaster I was well off and funded the Earth Intelligence Network, a 501c3, we 24 did all the homework to create panarchy, a citizen's intelligence (decision-support) network, a global to local policy decision and deliberation network, and a global to local budget oversight network as well as global to local range of gifts table.  Epoch A is over, Epoch B is beginning in earnest.

The idea to highly focus on getting one thing done resonates with me. I am trying to get 3 things done. Perhaps yours could be one of the three. I've built a platform to crowdsource leadership though open space on the web. I hope you'll post your work. www.aGREATER.US.

I had no idea that when the person who volunteered to take this video loaded it, that it would make front page of Reddit and go viral.  The one big change from the video is that the road trip is off and an electronic full court press is on in its place, with the objective of presenting the draft Statement of Demand and the draft Electoral Reform Act of 2012 to every Senator and Representative while they are home fund-raising over the holidays.

"Happy Birthday Occupy Wall Street ... thoughts on Year One"

Fifteen years ago, I ran across a book, "100 Most Influential People in History," during one of my dalliances to my local Marin County bookstore. "Influential People" was one man's assessment on exactly that. But how he determined his rankings was the interesting part. They weren't always the reasons you would think. But after thinking about it, they made complete sense. For example:George Washington was ranked in the top 40 of all time. Understandable. But the reason why ... not so much. You…See More
