Polarizing ourselves between "us" and "them", the injustices plaguing us at every level can never really be solved for the long term.

Oneness is a lofty principle that also has some very grounded ramifications.  Einstein is famous for saying that we can't solve a problem with the same thinking that created it.  The separatist thinking that follows party, racial, gender, national or any other human-contrived dividing line, will always keep us, not only apart, but largely ineffective to achieve our goals of transforming our world.

Oneness is a scientific, as well as spiritual, principle.  David Bohm is famous for his description of the universe as a holomovement, matter, energy and consciousness expressing as one whole movement.  Our western habits of thinking and perception have been excruciatingly slow to adopt this "new" science.  It seems any science under 100 years old is new, under 50 years old as barely germinating in our common world views.  However, this is the territory in which science and spirituality converge to create opportunity never before available to humanity on a mass scale.

My personal experience via a spiritual awakening at age 19 gave me a direct experience of this field of Oneness, though it has taken me 30-40 years to understand practical ways of applying this "knowledge."  Join the call or listen to the recording for some fun and powerful ways to bring this to earth—and the movement.

Join Friday's Occupy Heart as we explore what might be behind the curtain of apparent opposition and some tried and true ways of neutralizing the charges that fuel opposition.

"Happy Birthday Occupy Wall Street ... thoughts on Year One"

Fifteen years ago, I ran across a book, "100 Most Influential People in History," during one of my dalliances to my local Marin County bookstore. "Influential People" was one man's assessment on exactly that. But how he determined his rankings was the interesting part. They weren't always the reasons you would think. But after thinking about it, they made complete sense. For example:George Washington was ranked in the top 40 of all time. Understandable. But the reason why ... not so much. You…See More
