"Occupy Congress And Change The World!"

Put together a slate of candidates that are honest people drawn from the occupy movement's ranks and elect them to Congress. The first order of business is to take big money out of federal politics. Pass the Fair Elections Now Act (S. 750 and H.R. 1404). A law where political candidates for federal office would raise a large number of small contributions from their communities in order to qualify for Fair Elections funding. Welcome, David.  You say you want a revolution?  Well, you know...

You've got some company on that, and some folks who get freaked out by what it conjures up for them.  Such an interesting and provocative word!  What does "revolution" look like for you?  Sounds like fodder for a blog post!

I like the "term" (r)evolution myself.  Is it possible that the old systems are crumbling on their own to a large degree, and we simply need to "hospice" them?  Meanwhile, is it also possible that a new set of paradigms across multiple dimensions and on a global basis are already gestating, and our job is to "midwife" their emergence?

Cheers,

Ben Roberts

Fifteen years ago, I ran across a book, "100 Most Influential People in History," during one of my dalliances to my local Marin County bookstore. "Influential People" was one man's assessment on exactly that. But how he determined his rankings was the interesting part. They weren't always the reasons you would think. But after thinking about it, they made complete sense. For example:George Washington was ranked in the top 40 of all time. Understandable. But the reason why ... not so much. You…See More

Leadership Ecology

When a Leadership Ecology occurs, a web of relationships emerges revealing each person’s authentic leadership qualities through the transfer of their power to others. When done in a conscious way – a shared collaborative awakening happens.See More
