List of on-the-ground Occupy sites where you participate, if any
I have recently attended the Occupy Cincinnati gathering. Was inspired to see the diversity of people who show up AND young people leading this endeavor with us baby boomers acting as elders and cheerleaders for them.

What draws you to Occupy Cafe?
I think the Occupy movement has been waiting to be born - and now is the time. I'm drawn to Occupy Cafe because it allows me to engage and support the Occupy movement in a small way. I also am appreciative and Ben Roberts and team for providing this space.

Cheryl Honey's Death

Posted on April 29, 2013 at 11:50am 0 Comments

Peter pointed me to this one from

Edgar Cahn, ‘I think we’re learning that money isn’t what we thought it was, that bankers aren’t what we thought they were, and that the monetary system is not enabling us to get to where we need to get to,’ he says. ‘Money that depends upon repayment of interest requires that we have to keep producing more and more in a world that’s having to learn how to become sustainable.’

And this,

I realize what I am about to post may not seem directly related to the Occupy movement - BUT for me it is.

This morning I watched a video, "No More Shooting and Crying"  that affirms all that I think about why war and military occupation is not the answer.

I appreciate that these young people in Israel have found a way to share the message of what war and military occupation…

"Happy Birthday Occupy Wall Street ... thoughts on Year One"

Fifteen years ago, I ran across a book, "100 Most Influential People in History," during one of my dalliances to my local Marin County bookstore. "Influential People" was one man's assessment on exactly that. But how he determined his rankings was the interesting part. They weren't always the reasons you would think. But after thinking about it, they made complete sense. For example:George Washington was ranked in the top 40 of all time. Understandable. But the reason why ... not so much. You…See More
