Occupy Classroom-How to Livesteam or Videorecord

"Not only because police violence occurs often and in many areas of protests but now that livestreamers are being targeted we need to get more eyes on the street."

Why Do Dangerous Financial Criminals Roam Free?

"Prosecutors like Eric Schneiderman need cops on the beat to put financial crooks behind bars. But thanks to Bush, these cops are missing in action."

STUNNING: When a Single Image Cuts to the Core of an American Injustice

"Every day people in the Occupy movement are fighting big banks to keep families in this country from being foreclosed upon. Fighting to keep another person from being homeless, and from another housing unit becoming vacant. Fighting to change the narrative, to make this national blight more visible, more known.

And that's what spreading the above image can do. Make this injustice more known or understood in a way the mind-numbing statistics cannot, perhaps inspiring…

Contrary to Government Claims of 243,000 Jobs Created, Hundreds of Thousands of Jobs Were Actually LOST In January

"Government Misrepresents Employment Picture

While everyone is popping the champagne corks over the fact that the Bureau of Labor Statistics says that 243,000 jobs were created in January, the facts are slightly different."

Koch Bros. Mouthpiece Tells Occupy: “Forget the 1%, Go After Granny”

"The uproariously named “Reason.tv” has a video out entitled “Why Geezers Are the True Enemy of the Occupy Movement” featuring Veronique de Rugy. In the video, Ms. de Rugy explains to young occupiers that the elderly have done deplorably well in the preceding few decades. This makes Nonna and Nonno the natural enemies of the young and should therefore be stripped of Social Security and Medicare. In her defense, she does stop short of suggesting they be taken to the nearest…

Challenge – Is America the New Axis of Evil?

"We have met the enemy.  It is stupidity.  We can’t afford it anymore, no more fear, no more lies, no more greed.  Eventually, the way we are going, do I have to finish this?  There is going to be a price to pay for betraying America."

Where is this 'shared' sacrifice we keep hearing about?

"I love talk of "shared" sacrifice by well-heeled assholes who have forgotten what it's like to sweat their finances. Because nothing says "I'm sharing in your pain" like fighting efforts to repair our nation's debt by having those who can actually afford it carry the load, while pretending that no one else is "sacrificing."

We see this with the well-compensated media elite, we obviously see it with the selfish-asshole segment of the one percent. And, of course, we see it…

Drug war hypocrisy: drug trafficking's big money benefits Big Brother and corrupt banksters

"The hypocrisy of the war on drugs is outrageous when compared to the amount of drug trafficking that benefits the CIA and international banking system. The son of a convicted notorious mobster, John Gotti Jr, when asked in court if the family still dealt drugs cracked, "No, we can't compete with the government."

Today in Afghanistan, American troops have been seen guarding poppy fields used to make heroin. Those fields were all but wiped out by 2001…

"Happy Birthday Occupy Wall Street ... thoughts on Year One"

Fifteen years ago, I ran across a book, "100 Most Influential People in History," during one of my dalliances to my local Marin County bookstore. "Influential People" was one man's assessment on exactly that. But how he determined his rankings was the interesting part. They weren't always the reasons you would think. But after thinking about it, they made complete sense. For example:George Washington was ranked in the top 40 of all time. Understandable. But the reason why ... not so much. You…See More
