What The World Needs is What Makes You Come Alive!!

Don’t ask what the world needs.
Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.  Because what the world needs is
people who have come alive.

Wonderful!  This is the germ of leader-full.

P.S.  You can edit a blog, so your title typo can be repaired, Lindsay.

Thanks David..and thatnks for pointing out blogs can be edited.

We are all leaderfull..each of us..every one of us in any moment  ,,if we are doing what makes us come alive then will be awake and aware in every moment that calls on us to act or speak in leadership.

I like the flower garland school of buddhisms term "infininite interpenetration" to which I was introduced via John Cage. The core idea of "infinite interpenetration:  is that we are unique and uniquely needed. and at the same time literally co mingled with every thing else..not just connected but actually co mingled, inter connected.  Its a very fruitful way of thinking about the relationship between  the individual and humanity, to all of sentient life.

The theologian Raimon Panikkar expresses it as "I as thou: thou as I"

It implies a condition of mutuality that  is not chosen.;it simply is. and at the same time recognizes, celebrates and seeks the full blooming of each individuals unique  and needed gifts.what makes us come alive.

"What the world needs is what makes you comes alive" is an eloquent succinct expression of these same ideas.

"Happy Birthday Occupy Wall Street ... thoughts on Year One"

Fifteen years ago, I ran across a book, "100 Most Influential People in History," during one of my dalliances to my local Marin County bookstore. "Influential People" was one man's assessment on exactly that. But how he determined his rankings was the interesting part. They weren't always the reasons you would think. But after thinking about it, they made complete sense. For example:George Washington was ranked in the top 40 of all time. Understandable. But the reason why ... not so much. You…See More
