"Thanks Melanie .. and You're on ... regarding sharing more ideas. For example .. I'm thinking about starting 'collaborative design' sessions for groups that form here on Occupy Cafe. For this group, I think we need to…"
"Thank you Gary Davis for your input on the call today, and to Melanie for starting this group. It strikes me that the 'World Citizen' (WC) concept is a crucial piece to the Occupy Movement's future.
I'd like to see this WC…"
"This feels SO right to me, Vic. I think it's important to point out that such a framework empowers action, around which there is both a deep hunger and a constricting fear (i.e. that it won't emerge and the movement will…"

Many of us Northern Californians are familiar with the wise-cracking, wise-guy affectionately know as Swami Beyondananda, aka Steve Bhaerman, and his lovely consort Trudy Trueheart. Steve's ability to lighten up weighty subjects has brought relief to many a soul. Thanks for keeping the light lit,…
Thanks for the opportunity to share. Here is a thought about a collaborative opportunity. A friend of mine and I have worked in International Development for many years. As the world is changing to leaps and bounds so too our industry needs to look into the future and imagine how we need to do things now. After much discussion and lots of research, we have come to the conclusion is that for all nations to reach a level of development that enables their citizens to have life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, there are three key pieces that need to be integrated and in some kind of balance. These three pieces are Human Capital, Technology, and Natural Resources. The forces that are outside of this and difficult to control are natural disasters. We think that there is a backdrop of human consciousness that will result in a global mindset that is will inspire the balance that we are talking about. I would love to have collaborators to help us further develop this and discover how and where we might use it.
I don't see the capability to upload files on the Community Weaving Group. I was able to upload documents on the Vital Conversation page for the Community Weaving conversation on 8/27/12. Please advise how to upload files to the Community Weaving Group. Thx!
There is so very much to share and discuss! I am honored to be a part of Occupy Cafe and eager to share what I've seen and felt and experienced to date, to answer questions, and to convey your thoughts and interests to others in the square!

But after thinking about it, they made complete sense. For example:George Washington was ranked in the top 40 of all time. Understandable. But the reason why ... not so much. You…See More
