May The Richness of the Darkness Hold Many Blessings

"I've just been to the annual memorial service for homeless people who have died in boston this year and there was a lot of talk about those living in Occupy and how confused and even more homeless the homeless people feel since its been shut down.  May the richness of the darkness hold many blessings ....   Debbie"

Debbie is founder and exceutive director of Ecclesia Ministries,a global ministry to the homeless whose homebase is here on my island in Maine..  It began as "Common Cathedral" an outdoor weekly service for the homeless on the Boston Common to which many over Boston go especially on Christmas and Easter.

In my Christmas greeting to DebbIe shared the story of Mark, Gisele, and Victoria the nd of which is scrolling below in today's posts.  The above is her reply andI share it not just in tribute to Mark, Gisele and Victoria but to witness and hold up how Occupy's encmampents in Boston had become a place of inclusion for the homeless..as Mark might say

"where the washed and unwashed meet and greet and share"
